My story

From job sites to websites.

I started messing with HTML and CSS at 14, building fan-sites for the games I played. It stuck. But like a lot of people around here, life took a more practical route first — I cooked for years, then worked construction.

Construction taught me how small businesses really run, and how rough Canadian winters are on everyone when the layoffs roll in. I never wanted to be in that spot again, so I turned the thing I'd always tinkered with into my full-time work: websites, software, and small tools for local businesses and contractors.

These days I'm a dad to a 3-year-old daughter and married to my lovely Canadian wife. My roots are Dutch, but I love this country — proudly Canadian. 🍁

Because I've stood on both sides — swinging a hammer and writing the code — I get what contractors and small business owners actually need: something that works, looks sharp, and brings in jobs, without the jargon or the runaround.
