About me · my story
I started messing with HTML and CSS at 14, building fan-sites for a game I was hooked on. From then on I'd put a website together here and there — but never took it seriously.
For years I cooked, and later worked construction. Then I learned the hard way that Canadian winters are rough on everyone — I got laid off when the cold rolled in. I never wanted to be in that spot again, so I turned what I'd always tinkered with into my full-time work: websites, software, and small tools for local businesses and contractors.
These days I'm a dad to a 3-year-old daughter and married to my lovely Canadian wife. My roots are Dutch, but I love this country — proudly Canadian. 🍁
